HFHTVA Mission 18 - October 7, 2017
We are currently planning HFHTVA Mission 18 and we need your help! If you know a WWII or Korean War Veteran who has not participated in a previous Honor Flight mission please let us know ASAP. We want to get these heroes to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials built to honor their sacrifice and service and time is running out!

Honor Flight Historic Triangle Virginia will only be planning and executing three more missions . . . Mission 18 (October 2017), Mission 19 (April 2018) and Mission 20 (October 2018). If you know a World War II or Korean War Veteran that has not been on a previous Honor Flight the time to act is NOW! Applications are available by clicking "Veteran Applications" at the top of this page.
HFHTVA is now including Vietnam Veterans on a space available basis. Additionally, a recent update to Honor Flight Network policy now allows us to include "tweeners" . . . those are Veterans that served between WWII and the Korean War (1 Jan 47 - 24 Jun 50) and between the Korean War and the Vietnam War (1 Feb 55 - 27 Feb 61). We are NOW accepting applications for HFHTVA Mission 18.
HFHTVA would like to thank all of the businesses and individuals who provided either in-kind or monetary donations to support our program - these trips are not possible without your extremely generous contributions. Again, thank you to all for helping us make this such a wonderful experience for our World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veterans!
Would you like to travel or participate on a future HFHTVA trip? For those World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veterans that have not yet participated in one of our Honor Flights, we hope you will consider applying by completing and sending in your signed application by either fax or mail. And the best part? The cost to the Veteran is $0.00 (zero)! That's right . . . Veterans travel for FREE!! Terminally ill Veterans are also given special consideration, but condition must be confirmed by a licensed physician.
Veteran applications are available for download from the "Veterans Applications" page of this website (CLICK HERE
). Guardian applications to escort the veterans on the trip are available for download from the "Guardian Applications" page of this website (CLICK HERE
